A 90 minute workshop that brings Art and Drama alive.
Under the guidance of a Workshop Leader the children use famous paintings and works of art as inspiration to create dramatic pieces. Through discussion of the paintings, the children create their own stories and histories for the characters in the art, which become short scenes in group work.
Artwork includes paintings by Renoir, Monet, Seurat, Rembrandt, Manet and more.
"Excellent workshops for Y5 & Y6. The children really enjoyed using the paintings. It made them realise how everyone has individual ideas when looking at different pieces of art.
Lots of enthusiasm with ideas to extend and use in Literacy and Art/DT sessions."
