‘All the World’s A Stage’ is a 60 minute KS2 History Play. It’s an interactive play that covers many of the main themes of KS2 Tudor study.
The play is an original story which follows the antics of William Shakespeare as he struggles to write a new play at the request of Elizabeth 1. We meet Walter Raleigh, Francis Drake and members of ‘The Lord Chamberlain’s Men’ who all help or hinder Will. Even Henry VIII and his wives give him some advice from beyond the grave!
This funny play is packed full of facts and, as it is interactive, we perform to a max of 90 children at a time...
Why did Henry VIII have so many wives...?
He liked to chop and change!
"A fantastic morning of learning for the children. Never too much sitting for any length of time. Learned plenty of Tudor facts and improved their drama skills. High challenge, low stress and very engaging. Thanks!"
Bethany Junior School
"Another fantastic day from the Hobgoblin Theatre Company. The play was really informative and all the children learnt so much about the Tudors.
The small group work throughout the play ensures all of the children have a good understanding.
The workshop in the afternoon gives the children a chance to improve their own drama skills. Thank you again for a wonderful day.
Hobgoblin Theatre Company is the best school theatre company I have ever used. See you next year!"
Laura Huntley, Queens Park Academy

If you have never experienced theatre in education before (and, more specifically, Hobgoblin Theatre Company) then you will have no idea of the dramatic impact that the experience can have on childrens' understanding of, and passion for, a particular topic.
Hopefully these comments that other teachers have made will prompt you to give us a call!
Let us help to inspire your children.
